Account connections run through SnapTrade. NWN does not store your brokerage usernames or passwords, and access is handled through secure tokenized connections.

Free accounts can use the dashboard, manual accounts and positions, Markets, Time Machine, and app settings including themes. Adding a linked brokerage through SnapTrade is a Pro feature. Billing and plan details are shown in Settings inside the app.

On Pro, use Settings to start the SnapTrade connection flow for a supported brokerage. After linking, positions and balances sync into your dashboard. During early access, the app may show a notice if new SnapTrade connections are restricted-follow whatever message you see there.

Manual account types include brokerage, bank, retirement, crypto, real estate, sportsbook, and other. Depending on the type you can enter stocks and ETFs, listed options on brokerage-style accounts, and bet-style rows on sportsbook accounts, so assets that will never hit SnapTrade still roll into your totals.

Markets shows a strip of major indices and lets you search symbols. Opening a ticker brings up a panel with charting, fundamentals-style fields, and a notes tab for your own annotations. Data sources and freshness depend on what the backend pulls from market providers.

Time Machine lets you compare a portfolio history to a benchmark and adjust forward-looking assumptions with sliders. It is a planning and education tool, not personalized financial advice or a guarantee of future results.

NWN bundles net-worth dashboarding, manual and (on Pro) linked accounts, a markets research surface, and lightweight scenario tools in one login, with an emphasis on clear in-app messaging about plans and limits rather than vague marketing claims.
